Anastasia Chernyavsky (gallery)
Anastasia Chernyavsky is a Russian-born photographer who currently lives with her husband and their two children in Foster City (San Francisco Bay Area), United States. Her first photographic equipment was a Zenit E camera her father have her as a gift when she was 15 years old.
After her first child being born, Anastasia started taking photographs of here loved ones. During that year she discovered a great talent to capture a beauty and became a professional fine art photographer specializing in creative portraits of pregnant mothers, babies, couples, and family. Anastasia is a freelance photographer for agencies, magazines or private clients, having worked as a professional photographer for civil events. She became famous in 2013 when her series of self-portraits, featuring her and her children naked, went viral in social media and the blogosphere, and subsequently censored by Facebook, with some commentators from the mainstream press comparing her compositions to neoclassical paintings, such as the “Madonna del Parto” of Piero della Francesca.
Pavel Popov (gallery)
Pavel Popov was born in 1966 in the city of Perm. In 1994 he entered the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, studied at historical painting workshop led by Professor Glazunov. Pavel is a Member of the Moscow Union of Artists.

William-AdolpheBouguereau (November 30, 1825 – August 19, 1905) was a French academic painter and traditionalist. In his realistic genre paintings he used mythological themes, making modern interpretations of classical subjects, with an emphasis on the female human body. During his life he enjoyed significant popularity, was given numerous official honors, and received top prices for his work. Throughout the course of his life, Bouguereau executed 822 known finished paintings, although the whereabouts of many are still unknown.

Tips for organising clothes-optional swims

If the NIFTY swims are too infrequent for you – or if you live too far away from Templeton Pool to participate as often as you’d like – you may have thought about starting a clothing-optional swim of your own at a local pool. We here at NIFTY strongly encourage you to do so, and would like to help if we can! Here are some suggestions if you take the plunge:
1. Contact the pool and make an appointment with the programmer to discuss rentals. (This is their title in Vancouver Park Board sites, it may be different in your area.) Arrange an in-person appointment. There’s no need to mention at this point that you intend to have a clothing-optional event, but if they ask you if this is the case you should certainly (of course) say so, just as you would answer any initial questions they might have about your rental.
2. You will likely have to buy insurance. In BC, you should contact Sport BC insurance to discuss rates and terms. This would be a good thing to have looked into before your meeting with the pool programmer. If you know another group that rents the same pool, they might be willing to share their policy with you. Talk to them and to Sport BC.
3. It’s best to bring two people to your meeting with the pool programmer, a male and a female. (Sex shouldn’t matter, of course, but given societal stereotypes about people who like to do things naked, it helps to present your group as one whose membership represents a wider cross-section of your community.) Sorry (but needless) to say, you should really wear clothes for the meeting.
4. Use your judgment as the meeting unfolds, but you should probably explain your intention to have clothing-optional events early on during the meeting, as one of the parameters of your rentals. Most programmers will probably be at least willing to consider the idea, though they may say they have to check with their superiors first. At this point, be sure to mention all the other groups (like NIFTY) that have sucessfully run clothing-optional swims and events for years without any significant problems and with wide community support. Offer to meet with their superiors yourselves if needed.
5. If the meeting ends without a firm yes or no, give them a week or so to get back to you before calling to follow up. If you do so, start the call by thanking them for having met with you to consider renting their facility to your group. (Also do this when they call with their answer, if they do.)

Nudism welcomes children and actually encourages families with young children to bring their kids. Children are the most enthusiastic nudists because they have not yet learned to feel shame about their own or others’ bodies, or to equate nudity with sex. NIFTY has held many events over the years: topfree and clothing-optional parades and marches, topfree picnics and book readings, clothing-optional dances and movie nights, and more. We also usually host a clothing-optional picnic following the Vancouver portion of the annual World Naked Bike Ride. While these events are celebratory in nature, they also serve to educate the public about the harmful effects of suppressing the natural body, and to advocate for clothing-optional rights.

Since then, our membership has grown significantly, and several thousand people have been NIFTY members at some point over the years, with about 500 up-to-date members at any given time.

I’m proud to be a father, I’m proud to be a nudist and the combination of both make me a happy man.
Probably my greatest satisfaction is to know that I’m passing this natural way of life to a new generation.

Amen to you brother. I’ve tried to do the same when I was married and had 2 beautiful daughters. My wife didn’t appreciate that I took pictures of us at a nudist camp.
When my son was very young (preschool age) his Mother let him play in the house in the nude, especially in the summer. I came home from work one day and my boy was running around nude and my wife suggested I join him. My son heard and exclaimed “Daddy be naked boy too!”
So, I stripped down and my wife sent her naked boys out to the backyard. We had a great time running around and kicking a soccer ball around. We also had a pool. So we were able to jump in and cool off and then get out and run around some more. My Mother in law was visiting and she came out with her camera and got some nice candid shots of us.
I love being a father and I love being naked. Having photos of those days is a wonderful memory!

Wonderful! I am 25 years old, and am currently single and childless. However, someday I want to raise a family of nudists. I want to not scold my children for seeing non-sexual, wholesome nudity on images on TV, movies or the Internet. Seeing these images makes me wish I had been raised nudist.
When I get my own home I plan to make clothing optional rules. I hope me, my wife and our children together can be naked at home and in social nude places and events with others who are nude in the future. Nudism is great and should be something practiced by all families.

David you are a lucky person, to enjoy nudity with your parents is great. I was raised in a very strict home, it wasn’t until I married, when my wife would join me nude after our daughter went to bed. It was the greatest feeling to be nude together. Unfortunately, when my daughter turned 2, it came to a halt, she did not want her to see us naked, I tried to convince my wife that being nude together would be great. No luck and my nudity stopped dead. After my wife passed away, and my kids were out of the house I then was able to be nude again, which is very enjoyable to me. When you marry, convince your bride that being nude is great and not a nasty way to be as some people believe nude is great.
I am now able to be nude once more and enjoying it once again. Nudity is the best thing in life, and I can enjoy that feeling once again. I wish my parents were nudists like yours.

Just be open and honest with your boys and let them know that it’s perfectly ok for people to be naked together. I wish I had grown up in a nudist household. My parents made me feel ashamed of my naked body and being naked.

I took in 3 foster boys which I later adopted.
On day #1 I took them to a Nude Beach, they loved it and our life as home nudists began. Their friends loved hanging out at our house and one of the dad’s and I became great friends. They’re all grown now and living nudist lifestyles in their own homes. When they come home, the clothes come off the second they walk in the door…..unless they bring a girl of course

That was my dream growing up. You were very lucky.
I am a bit of a late bloomer with naturism as I’m now in my 50’s however, I always dabbled in being naked from as long as I can remember. My mom always said I wanted no part of clothes from the time I entered this world. Apparently she had a tough time getting me to keep my diaper on then my training pants then just clothes in general. As I grew into my grade school years, for the most part (notice I said for the most part) I kept being naked to my bedroom or with my dad bathing or working/playing in the acreage (I grew up on a farm of sorts).
Once I went to college, I went full throttle with nudity except of course when in class and most public situations (notice I said most).
Between college and about 4 or 5 years ago, I exhibited my natural born freedom whenever and wherever I could!
Now, I’m at a point in my life where I don’t give a rats ass (sorry) where I choose to be free. For the most part I do use common sense but hello very young age I always rationalized being naked ass… We all either have a penis or a vagina and they are just at different stages of development and may look a little different but truly we all are the same.

Growing up, I had a lot of quality time chatting with my dad while he shaved nude after showering.
I’m a dad to 4 sons , i have always been nude around them , showered together still to this day . It does help boys a lot going into puberty when they can see their dads nude body…
